Rhythm and endurance

Smooth rhythm beats bursty typing. Endurance grows from even pacing, not from spamming keys.

Even cadence

Try to keep keystrokes relatively steady. Big speed bursts followed by freezes often hide hesitation on weak keys. A slightly slower but even rhythm usually produces better accuracy and a higher sustainable WPM.

Building endurance

  • Extend session length gradually (for example 5 → 10 → 15 minutes).
  • Mix modes so one pattern does not exhaust the same fingers.
  • Use course mode for longer, structured runs once basics feel stable.

Recovery

If rhythm falls apart, drop speed for a few lines and re-anchor on home row. Resetting form mid-session is a strength, not a failure.
