Ergonomics and posture

Comfortable posture lets you practice longer and avoids the tension that creates choppy typing.

Quick setup

  • Sit so elbows are near 90° and wrists stay roughly straight — not bent up or down.
  • Keep the screen at a height that lets you look slightly downward without hunching.
  • Float hands lightly; rest palms only between bursts if needed, not while actively striking keys.

Breaks matter

Short sessions with breaks beat long strained marathons. Shake out hands, roll shoulders, and look away from the screen for a minute between drills.

Pain is a stop sign

Sharp pain is not a badge of effort. Adjust height, shorten sessions, or take a rest day. Sustainable practice wins over heroic fatigue.
